english_teaching_image.jpg New Community English School (our team’s ESL ministry), averages about 100 students attending 12 classes weekly. Some of these classes study English using stories from the Bible as well as standard English curriculum. Why do we teach English?
  • Because teaching builds community in which, we believe, the gospel grows.
  • Because English learning is in high demand in Thailand.
  • Because ESL provides short-term missionaries great opportunities to come overseas without any Thai language ability and immediately make an impact.
Our goal in maintaining an ESL program is not necessarily to grow the ministry to reach as many students as possible.  Rather, we pray and work so that each class would form into its own small community in which, over time the missionary would be able to introduce the Christian faith through relationships with students. We pray that not just one or two students would come to faith, but that the communities of classes would come to faith together as they hear the gospel for the first time…in community.

Can you speak English? Do you love the Lord Jesus? Then you can be a missionary. Contact us today if you’re willing to give some of your time to building these communities for the sake of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ!
