church_planting_txt.jpg

church_planting.jpg We believe that people come to faith and grow in their faith in the context of the church. There are so many unreached people in Thailand. This is why church planting is at the core of everything we do – it’s really that simple!

In the Spring of  2007,
Kritsajaak Samakitaam Meuang Maai (New City Fellowship Church) began weekly meetings for worship. It’s a small gathering of believers in Eastern Bangkok, though by God’s grace we pray that this community would grow to become a flagship church from which many will come to know the gospel of Christ, and grow up to full maturity in the faith.

We want to establish churches that are distinctively covenantal and reformed as well as promote the growth of healthy, evangelical churches city-wide. It’s crucial that the church-planting movement be led by indigenous leaders from day-one. Of the 11 million people in Bangkok, less than 1% profess faith in Christ. The city of Bangkok has over 150 churches. Even if all 150 were healthy churches by Biblical standards, they would not be enough to minister to the sheer volume of people in this vast city. Please pray with us for the growth of the church in Thailand, and specifically for New City Fellowship!
